Tour Guides and Engineering Ambassador at Penn State Behrend

Class of 2025

Hometown: Erie, PA

Major: Mechanical Engineering Technology

Minor: Operations and Supply Chain Management

I chose Penn State Behrend...

because it is close to home, the small class sizes and the reputable engineering programs.

My most memorable Behrend experience...

has been working on the SAE Supermileage car. The practical experience I've gained from building the car and working with a group of students with diverse backgrounds has been rewarding in many ways I couldn't have imagined.

My favorite location on campus is...

the SAE shop because I get to apply the skills I learn in the classroom in a hands-on environment while solving real world problems.

Advice I would give to incoming students is...

know what you want to do with your education and where you want to be after four years. Don't be afraid to accept new challenges- they might lead you to having some of the best college experiences.

I'm passionate about...

Motorsports Woodworking Outdoor Recreation Classic American Cars/Motorcycles Football Tinkering

I'm involved with...

Society of Automotive Engineers Materials & Manufacturing Group Engineering Ambassador Outdoors Club Undergraduate Research
