I chose Penn State Behrend...

Choosing Penn State Behrend was actually an accident for me! When I was applying to Penn State, I thought I was applying to University Park but instead, I applied and enrolled in World Campus. By the time I realized, Behrend was the only campus with my desired major and housing available. Despite being full convinced I would take part in the 2+2 program, I stayed at Behrend because of all the resources and opportunities it had to offer. Staying at Behrend allowed me to have really cool internships and leadership roles as well!

Advice I would give to incoming students is to get involved and allow yourself to branch out to try new things. College is what you make out of it and we are all trying to find our passions so it's okay to attend a club meeting but never go back! Take advantage of the resources available to you; your peers, professors, and anyone on campus. They are here to help you succeed!

My most memorable Behrend experience...

My most memorable Behrend experience has to be my first move-in day as a resident assistant! Just being able to build a community and support first year students get familiar with campus like my RA did during my move in felt amazing! Fast forward 2 years later, I'm now good friends and still keep in touch with my first set of residents!

My favorite location on campus is...

My favorite location on campus is the Burke parking garage to watch the sun set!
