don't let fear get in the way of enjoying your college experience— join that club, reach out to that professor, or even talk to the person sitting next to you in your math class! Behrend has hundreds of opportunities, and overcoming any fear you have is a big part in making sure you make the most of these experiences.
the Reed Union Building! It has so much to offer. Bruno's Cafe, the Student Leadership and Involvement Office, and the Multicultural Resource Center are only a few of the places in the building where I spend a majority of my time— I can hang out with friends, meet with my clubs, and become more of a leader at Behrend.
because of its inclusive nature. You can come to Behrend and truly belong, no matter who you are or how you identify. The campus is a small, friendly community— but it still manages to provide students with the bigger resources they need academically and career-wise. Penn State Behrend creates leaders.
was my first Alternative Spring Break. A team of Behrend students got to travel down to Fort Myers, Florida for Hurricane Ian relief. It was an eye-opening experience and pushed me out of my comfort zone. I was able to make an impact and connect with other Behrend students who were also passionate about service! Since then, I have been on a second trip to Puerto Rico that focused on environmental service.
