Advice I would give to incoming students is...

Get involved, stay hardworking, and be organized! Get involved is so important that it is the key element to be successful at college. And over here at Behrend, we have so many different things that you can get involved to!! Student clubs, offices, ambassador programs, etc. Stay hardworking and organized is essential to keep a good GPA and apply for internship and jobs!

I chose Penn State Behrend...

Because of the amazing nursing skill labs and simulation center. I saw the video of them online, and immediately fell in love with it and decided to transfer campus to come here. The nursing staff are so welcoming and loving, and it really feel like a big family here at Behrend. I also have an everlasting relationship with language and cultures, and Behrend has 3 language programs and so many cultural clubs for me to get involved in.

My favorite location on campus is...

The game lounge absolutely! I spent so many hours there chilling with friends and doing homework. The game lounge is equipped with big round tables and comfy sofas, and numerous amount of outlets, which is an ideal hangout place for me because I use my laptop so much that the battery constantly runs out. Meanwhile, the game lounge is in the Reed Union Building, which is an ideal location to the academic buildings, school offices and cafeterias!

My most memorable Behrend experience...

Has to be the Welcome Week experience! I was a welcome week guide with the Check-in team, and we were the first person freshman students and their families get to interact with on campus. Up until this day, the energy, appreciation and support I received from freshman students and my peers still influence me to better myself and keep going!
