Advice I would give to incoming students is...

participate in clubs!! We have so many clubs here at Behrend and it's so refreshing to see a familiar face every week/biweekly that isn't your number one buddy. It's also nice to have something else to participate in that aligns with your interests outside of your major.

I chose Penn State Behrend...

because of its Plastics Program. I'm not pursuing it currently but I love to have a connection to plastics through the incredible plastics lab and numerous clubs and activities involving plastics.

My favorite location on campus is...

either Burke or AMIC. I've had some fun times studying with friends in both buildings and they're both great places to learn in an environment that isn't your dorm room or the library.

My most memorable Behrend experience...

is Welcome Week. Looking back on it, it was awesome to meet so many new people all whom were experiencing and feeling the same things! I would say to take advantage of the events and don't miss out on something just because you think it's lame or in fear that you won't meet anyone.
