Get involved. The best way to get plugged in and meet people is to join a club and attend campus events. You never know who you'll meet and how it could change your life!
I am most thankful for my involvement in Chi Alpha Campus Ministry, which is where I made most of the friends I have on campus. We've done all-nighters, movie nights, study groups, off-campus retreat weekends, and plenty of other adventures together! I'm happy to have a community that feels like home while I'm away from home.
Either the Gorge or Behrend Fields! Both are beautiful places for hiking and watching the stars.
I started my Penn State journey at Penn State Beaver in the 2+2 program and I became really involved in my time there. I got to know all of my fellow students and I enjoyed the tight-knit community. Since I knew I'd be finishing my degree at Behrend, I wanted to meet some people attending there to see what their community was like. I found that just like Beaver, it also has a tight-knit community, but it has even more opportunities to get involved in clubs and activities, as well as undergraduate research!
