The education you receive is much more than the grade you get on a paper, and often the students who get the most out of college are the ones who get involved, try things, and prioritize themselves and make connections over maintaining a perfect GPA. Overall, it's okay to be wrong, and that's just part of the process, but whenever you're passionate about what you do, you eventually realize you made the right decision in the end.
I love basketball, and I spend most Friday evenings playing pickup basketball in Erie Hall with my friends. Those nights are some of my fondest memories on campus.
My favorite location on campus is probably one of the various computer labs in either the Burke Building or down in the Nick and Hammermill Buildings. I have trouble focusing in open areas and a lot of times I find that I'm more productive in the quieter computer labs. Also, it's really nice to have multiple screens when completing homework.
I chose Penn State Behrend for the ability to access an incredible education at a great price that allowed me to commute to school every day. On top of this, the smaller class sizes have been incredibly impactful in my ability to learn and have easier access to my professors to get the most out of my education.
